Is the initial conversation really free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The qualification call (20-30 minutes) is free of charge. The conversation identifies which practice area applies, whether the practice is a fit for the matter, and what engagement structure makes sense. If the practice is not a fit or another specialist is better positioned, the conversation ends with a referral. No agency relationship is created until a written representation agreement is executed.

What information should I have ready for the first call?

Helpful but not required: property address or general location; asset type (office, retail, multifamily, industrial, SFH, etc.); rough loan balance and current value (if known); workout stage (pre-default, special servicing, REO, bankruptcy, etc.); your role (lender, special servicer, trustee, owner, attorney, capital partner). How soon will I hear back from form submissions?

Accepted Answer

Same business day for most inquiries; next business day at the latest. For time-sensitive matters (foreclosure auction imminent, court deadline approaching, special servicer transfer pending), call directly. Office hours are Monday-Friday 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM Mountain Standard Time (Phoenix does not observe daylight saving).

What about my information privacy?

The practice does not sell or share contact information with unrelated marketers. Information necessary to complete a distressed-property engagement is shared with possibly-matched specialists within Landmark ACM, with outside-firm brokerage partners under documented commission-sharing arrangements, with introduced legal counsel, and with referred capital partners. Most engagements are handled in-house; legal, tax, and financial advisors should be consulted directly by the client.
